The Best of Texas Wine and Food Festival with Victory Cup

On Friday night, The Best of Texas Chefs will engage in a friendly competition, and guests can come outfitted in the fashion of the Roaring Twenties (period cowhand, flapper dresses, silk gloves, tuxedos,and even top hats)! Alongside discerning Food Critics, VIP dinner guests will pick their favorite tasting station and vote for ‘The Best Chef in Texas!’

Only 200 tickets are available and discerning diners will enjoy a themed Great Gatsby Bash in Fredericksburg, Texas on the grounds of the historic Pioneer Museum! Featuring a live jazz band, guests will dance the night away to vintage hot jazz, Gypsy Swing, and prohibition-era entertainment.

The awesome products of local farmers, ranchers, vineyards, distilleries and breweries will be on full display! The evening is sure to be a celebration of all the senses, with champagne flowing, spirits well-stocked, and an assortment of local products! So get ready for a night of decadence and hit Fritztown by storm with us.

Want to work off your calories from Friday’s awesome dinner? Just before The Best of Texas Tasting Festival, runners of all ages and abilities will take part in The Best of Texas Bier Run 5K at 9:30 am, ending at the Pioneer Museum in the VIP runner’s tent. Participating runners will start the day with a 5K run and finish the fun run with a Breakfast of Meisters including German Sausage and a complimentary beer!

The weekend continues Saturday morning with The Best of Texas Tasting Festival (Open to Public) on the Pioneer Museum grounds.

The Best of Texas Tasting Festival has been created to showcase the growing number of local vineyards, breweries, distilleries and gourmet food fares peppering the area. This year’s Tasting Festival includes dozens of local musicians and artists, over 50 tasting partners and an estimated 2,500 food and wine enthusiasts - if not more! Participants will enjoy the largest assortment of Hill Country Restaurants and Texas wines, craft beers, gourmet foods and spirits available, throughout the day.

With Friday and Saturday now under your belt, get ready to enjoy Mimosas, Bloody Mary’s and even a Farm to Table Dinner on Sunday at the Grand Finale’ Victory Cup “Blue Bonnet” Polo Match (Sunday)! Bring your entire family, even your dog, and enjoy a gorgeous day of green grass, majestic horses, beautiful people and heart pounding polo! Come, relax and enjoy the best day of your life – literally.

This event isn’t just a polo match, The Victory Cup “Blue Bonnet” Polo Match (Sunday) is a networking and social destination drawing hundreds from Texas and beyond! Join hundreds of spectators at ‘The Best Party in Texas” and watch Texas Tech compete against an Alumni Team. Then, once the Texas Tech Battle ends, a little Cowboy Polo will be in the works for everyone to watch. After the matches, enjoy a Texas Grown Farm to Table Dinner on the field with the polo players!
